Forward John O’Connell scored 19 points and Tim Aramini added 16 points and seven rebounds to lead St. Anselm College of New Hampshire to a 94-79 victory over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Thursday night at Carson.
The 94 points were the fourth-most ever given up in a game by the Toros.
The loss was Dominguez Hills’ first against an NCAA Division II opponent this season and its most lopsided loss to a Division II school in 37 games.
The Toros, who open California Collegiate Athletic Assn. play next week, also had their five-game winning streak snapped.
Junior guard Carlos Paul led Dominguez Hills with a game and career-high 25 points.
