HITS MAGAZINE TIP OF THE WEEK
The very profitable annual Lollapalooza tour is shaping up with insiders saying Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins and the Beastie Boys have already been confirmed. Meanwhile, Lollapalooza founder (and Porno for Pyros leader) Perry Farrell has split with manager Ted Gardner, who is also one of the organizers of Lollapalooza. Industry chatter has the split occurring because Farrell wanted Porno for Pyros to headline Lollapalooza ’94.
