Delta Air Lines Inc. lost $141 million, or $3.36 per share, on revenue of $3.02 billion in the quarter, the second of its fiscal year. The Atlanta-based carrier lost $144.4 million, or $3.46 per share, on revenue of $2.87 billion a year earlier.
The latest quarter included a pretax charge of $112.3 million to pay for the early retirement of 1,492 workers in November.
