“Greetings From LovelinessLand” (by Margo Kaufman, Jan. 9) left me miffed and embarrassed about the perceived state of hairdressing in Los Angeles. At all of our Allen Edwards Salons, we teach our customers to be independent and cost-conscious about their hair and beauty routines. Only a tiny fraction of the city’s population can spend hundreds on looking good.
