BASKETBALL ROUNDUP : Johnson Leads Crenshaw’s Rout of the Generals

Forward Kris Johnson led all scorers with 35 points and Tremaine Fowlkes added 33 as Crenshaw ambushed Washington, 102-62, in a Southern Pacific game Friday at Crenshaw.
Guard Daniel Brown had a team-high 16 points for the Generals. Washington forward Dayron Harris, who was ejected in the fourth quarter for arguing with a player, was held to eight points.

Westchester 78, Los Angeles 54--Forward Joe Richard scored 12 points in a Coastal Conference loss Friday at Los Angeles. Westchester forward Ben Sanders scored a game-high 20 points for the Comets.

Loyola 90, Crespi 75--The Cubs broke open a close game in the third quarter to erase Crespi’s playoff hopes in a season finale of Mission League game Friday at Crespi. Leading 42-40 at halftime, the Cubs outscored Celts 24-15 to put away the game in the third quarter. Toby Bailey ignited a 16-3 run with a monster dunk to open the third quarter. He finished the game with 28 points.
