“Teachers’ Lounge” has set a new Laguna Playhouse attendance record for a non-musical production. Playhouse executive director Richard Stein says John Twomey’s original comedy was seen by roughly 11,000 playgoers, or 96% capacity for the entire run (Jan. 11-Feb. 6). The previous record-holder was Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream.”
