Chinese Vice Premier to Visit Japan: Zhu Rongji, who is also China’s top economic planner, will make the visit from Feb. 23 to March 3 at the invitation of the Japanese government, Japan’s Foreign Ministry said. During his visit, his first as vice premier, Zhu will hold talks with Japanese Foreign Minister Tsutomu Hata and other top government officials, the ministry said. Zhu plans to visit the Osaka area and Japan’s southernmost island of Kyushu.
