* John M. DeStefanis has been appointed president and chief operating officer of Quantum Health Resources Inc., an Orange health care company. In those positions he succeeds Douglas H. Stickney, who will continue as chairman and chief executive. DeStefanis was formerly president and chief operating officer of Norrell Health Care Inc. in Atlanta. Before that, he held senior management positions with Caremark in Chicago, Foster Medical in California and USV Laboratories in Tarrytown, N.Y.
