A woman accused of trying to kill an abortion doctor has provided details linking herself to abortion clinic arsons around the country over the past three years, the Wichita Eagle reported. In a series of letters and interviews with the newspaper, Shelley Shannon provided details that suggest she was involved in several arsons or knows who was. Shannon, 37, of Grants Pass, Ore., was charged with attempted first-degree murder in the Aug. 19 shooting of George Tiller outside his Wichita clinic. Tiller was slightly wounded.
