Enertech: The Brea company, which supplies parts to nuclear power plants, said Tuesday that it won a $2-million award as a result of arbitration proceedings in a dispute with an Illinois company.
Enertech sued C&S; Valve Co. of Westmont, Ill., several years ago for alleged breach of contract, said Enertech spokeswoman Arlene Corkhill. C&S;, which countersued, allegedly broke an agreement to supply valves to Enertech.
The companies agreed to submit to out-of-court arbitration moderated by the American Arbitration Assn. The arbitration was decided in favor of Enertech and the countersuit against it was thrown out.
C&S; officials did not return a call for comment.
