Service Today for Hiegert’s Father

A rosary for Norbert John Hiegert, father of Cal State Northridge Athletic Director Bob Hiegert, will be said today at 6 p.m. at Gates, Kingsley & Gates Mortuary in Canoga Park.
Hiegert, 76, a resident of Woodland Hills, died Sunday of heart failure, a Cal State Northridge spokesman said.
Hiegert will be buried Thursday in Culver City after a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at St. Bernadine’s Church, 24410 Calvert Ave., in Woodland Hills.
