WOODLAND HILLS : Magnin Opens; Mall Recovery Complete
- Share via
The last store to return to the Woodland Hills Promenade Mall after January’s earthquake celebrates its official reopening today, three months after losing part of its wall and roof in the disaster.
The opening of the I. Magnin outlet at 6101 Owensmouth Ave. marks the end of the mall’s repairs.
“We’re fully functioning now,” said Catherine Duke, concierge at the Woodland Hills mall. “It’s back to business as usual.”
Only the Saks Fifth Avenue store remains closed, Duke said, and there are no plans to reopen it. Elizabeth Pedersen-Knapp, marketing director for the mall, said the damage was too extensive and Saks doesn’t want to invest in the repairs.
