Pinkerton Opens European Headquarters
Pinkerton Security & Investigation Services, an Encino-based security and private-eye firm, said it has opened a headquarters in Kelsterbach, Germany, near the Frankfurt airport. The headquarters will oversee the company’s growing European operations, including those in Germany, Portugal, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
Previously, Pinkerton’s European operations were managed from Encino. But the expansion of the private security business abroad, particularly in Eastern Europe, prompted the decision to open another headquarters, according to Denis Brown, Pinkerton CEO.
Pinkerton has about 15 offices in Europe and is seeking new overseas acquisitions, particularly in France and Spain.
Thomas C. Jones was named director of European operations. Jones is a retired U.S. Army brigadier general.
