WEEK AT A GLANCE: Brown rushed for 244 yards in 15 carries in the Toreadors’ 62-7 rout of El Camino Real. It was Brown’s second consecutive 200-yard game. Said Brown, who combines power with great speed: “The holes were opening up.” Taft Coach Troy Starr was more effusive. “He’s the elite back. Since he came to this school two years ago, people have been stacked up against him and he just consistently gets his yards. He’s without a doubt one of the top running backs in the country.”
