Angels’ Snow Undergoes Shoulder Surgery
Angel first baseman J.T. Snow underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left shoulder Thursday at Anaheim Memorial Hospital. The surgery was to repair a partial tear of cartilage in the shoulder.
Snow was injured while diving for a fly ball when playing left field in the Venezuelan Winter League. He is expected back for the start of spring training.
Also Thursday, former Angel reliever Joe Grahe signed a triple-A contract with the Colorado Rockies with an option for the 1996 season. Grahe became a free agent in November when the Angels attempted to outright him to their triple-A Vancouver roster.
