School to Offer Advice on Earning Diplomas
- Share via
Davis Adult School will welcome high school dropouts today, all day, for its “Drop-in Day for Dropouts” program.
From 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., individualized high school diploma counseling will be provided on a walk-in basis. Participants will receive specific recommendations on how to best proceed toward earning a diploma.
Many people without diplomas are unaware that job experience, previous high school work and certain other activities can count for diploma credit, said Catherine Ashdown, the school’s administrator. The free program provides flexible scheduling so students can earn diplomas at their own pace, she said.
The school also offers educational programs for handicapped adults, senior citizens, parents and adults who have recently arrived from other countries.
Davis Adult School is at 1050 Arlington Drive. Information: (714) 556-3430.
