Leafs Get Gagner for Hogue, Wood

The Toronto Maple Leafs took a step to bolster their lackluster offense Sunday night by acquiring center Dave Gagner from the Dallas Stars for veteran forwards Benoit Hogue and Randy Wood.

Toronto also picked up a conditional sixth-round draft pick from the Stars, but Gagner, 31, is the key player. He was third on the Stars in scoring with 14 goals and 27 points in 45 games, but is a six-time 30-goal scorer.
