Man Sought in Rape of Woman at Office

Police are searching for a man in his late 20s who raped a 42-year-old woman at gunpoint as she was leaving her office in Ventura late Thursday, officers said.
The woman was approached about 8:15 p.m. by a man wearing a mask who forced her back into the office, restrained and sexually assaulted her, investigators said.
The attack occurred in the 4800 block of Market Street. The suspect is described as a 25- to 30-year-old man between 5 feet, 6 inches and 5 feet, 9 inches tall, and weighing about 140 pounds.
The victim was treated and released at Ventura County Medical Center.
