Bomb Causes Minor Damage to Van

ENCINO — A homemade bomb exploded under an unoccupied parked van early Thursday. There were no injuries.
The blast went off just after midnight in the 5100 block of Hesperia Avenue, according to LAPD spokesman Manny Valladares.
A Dodge van owned by the N.S. Minassian Rug Co. sustained minor damage, Valladares said.
No arrests were made.
Detectives from the LAPD’s Criminal Conspiracy Section investigated the incident but had no suspects or motives as of late Thursday, police said.
