Youth / News for the 18-and-under crowd : National College Fair for Parents, Students

Students and parents who want to learn more about colleges and universities across the nation may do so at the 11th annual Orange County National College Fair on Thursday from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Anaheim Convention Center.
Alumni and admissions officers from nearly 250 institutions will be on hand to answer questions and give out information on specific campus programs.
Workshops are planned on such topics as the high school athlete and NCAA, mastering the college selection process, scholarships and financial aid, and an overview of the University of California and California State University systems.
The free public event is sponsored by the National Assn. for College Admission Counseling. Information: (800) 252-5884.
