New Real Estate Office Opens to Meet Growth

Citing the increasing vitality of the Ventura County market, the Seeley Co., a commercial real estate firm, has opened a regional office in Oxnard.
The new office, at 1901 N. Solar Drive, will cover transactions from the Conejo Valley to Santa Maria.
“We believe Ventura County has reemerged as a growing market, as evidenced by [several] recent deals,” said Wayne Saldana, manager of Seeley’s Oxnard and San Fernando Valley offices.
Saldana said lease rates for industrial buildings in Ventura County have stabilized and even increased during the past six months.
“Because of this, and since there is a lack of available quality product in the market, developers are becoming more comfortable,” Saldana said. “So we expect that in the next 12 to 18 months, we will witness speculative development on a limited basis, as well as more build-to-suit opportunities in Ventura County.”
