I read with great interest the April 28 letter from Nancy J. Hight (“More R&R; Under $100”). I travel frequently on business and, last January, I received a gift membership in a discount travel program called the Elite Traveller. Members get up to 65% discounts at more than 2,700 hotels worldwide. I’ve used my membership at the Hilton, Hyatt, Sheraton and Marriott and paid between $62 and $89 a night and never had a problem getting space. Other discounts are offered on air fare, car rentals and cruises, but the best bargains are found in the hotel and golf discounts. I bought my memberships ($49.95) through a local distributor, Prime International ([310] 842-8085). Sure hope this information can be of help to other readers of the best Travel Section in the country.
