The first day of summer may be more than two weeks away, but temperatures in the 90s are predicted for the San Fernando and Santa Clarita valleys during the next four days.
A high in the upper 90s to mid-100s is predicted for today with a low in the mid-60s. Skies will be clear as a high-pressure ridge moves over the region today, with a few high clouds moving in Tuesday.
The clouds will bring slight relief through Thursday, with highs in the mid-80s to low 90s and lows in the upper 50s to low 60s. Temperatures are expected to cool a few degrees each day after today, as the high-pressure front moves eastward.
Winds will be 10 to 15 mph throughout the week, said Robert Baruffaldi, National Weather Service meteorologist.
