Bryan Harvey said Monday he likely will make a rehabilitation start next week, possibly with the Lake Elsinore Storm, an Angel Class-A team.
Harvey, who had reconstructive surgery on his elbow, played long toss for 20 minutes before the Storm’s game Monday. He will repeat that workout today and then pitch off the mound Thursday.
“If everything goes well, I’ll throw a simulated game Monday and then make a start,” Harvey said. “It’s been 13 months. It’s about time.”
