Pickup Truck Catches Fire on Conejo Grade

A pickup truck pulling an equipment trailer for volleyball’s Team Cuervo caught fire about noon Wednesday on the Conejo Grade, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The single-vehicle fire occurred on the southbound Ventura Freeway south of Camarillo Springs Road.
It took a crew from the county Fire Department 30 minutes to extinguish the blaze, according to a department spokeswoman.
No lanes were closed and no one was injured.
