Occupation: Part-time professional fund-raiser and consultant for nonprofit groups
Background: Former chairman of parks and recreation commission in Tucson, Ariz.
Major issue: Bring in market planners to focus on business development and retention.
James J. Richert
Age: 47
Occupation: National director of operations for Kia Motors America Inc.
Background: Founder of local anti-jail group called Jail Alternatives to Musick
Major issues: Opposes lack of representation for South County on Board of Supervisors; would organize South County cities to propose redistricting plan
Marcia Rudolph
Age: 55
