The Me Generation Is Alive and Uncaring

“Election ‘96: The Young and the Restless (Oct. 24) is another verification that we are still in the Me Generation. Comments by young adults such as “I don’t care about (fill in the blank) that’s not affecting me” further prove the insensibility and lack of care for fellow citizens by those who believe if it doesn’t affect me, who cares?
I do care about people and will always vote for the protection of citizens’ rights. God help us if people only voted when issues directly affected their little worlds.
