Ocean Floor Dredged for Pieces of TWA Jet

Fishing trawlers began scraping and scooping up the ocean floor in search of parts of downed Trans World Airlines Flight 800. Investigators say the dredging off Long Island is their last best chance to find crucial missing pieces that could tell them what caused the Paris-bound jetliner to explode minutes after taking off from John F. Kennedy International Airport on July 17, killing all 230 people on board.
