Flamemaster’s Profit Drops 49% for Quarter

Flamemaster Corp., a Sun Valley chemical company, said its profit for the first fiscal quarter that ended Dec. 31 was $26,661, down 49% from $52,389 a year ago.
Revenue for the quarter was $736,978, down slightly from $743,308 in the corresponding period the year before.
The company said the quarter’s weak results reflected a legal settlement with Conopco.
