KCET Cinema Series to Resume With ‘Hard’

KCET’s Tuesday evening cinema series resumes next week with a special sneak screening of “Hard Eight,” which stars Gwyneth Paltrow and Samuel L. Jackson, at 7 p.m. at the Television Academy Plaza Theatre in North Hollywood.

Writer-director Paul Thomas Anderson and actors Philip Baker Hall and John C. Reilly will be on hand for a discussion following the film. Herbert Margolis will moderate.

Tickets for the 10-film series are $100, or $175 per couple.
