Wrestling Titles on the Line Saturday

Calvary Chapel, ranked first in the state and eighth in the nation by USA Wrestling, will defend its Southern Section title at the Division I dual meet championships Saturday at Cerritos College.
The Eagles are led by defending state champions Joe Calavitta (140 pounds) and Ty Wilcox (160), who is ranked No. 1 in the nation in his weight class. The Eagles will be going for their sixth consecutive division dual meet championship.
In the other division championship meets Saturday, Temecula Valley will host the Division II final and Chino Hills Ayala High the Division III competition.
Santiago, which is the top-seeded team and defending champion in Division IV will host that contest.
All competition starts at 10 a.m. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for students and children.
