Students Complete Leadership Training

Four Irvine Valley College students were designated as Certified Student Leaders at the 32nd annual National Conference on Student Services in Boston.
Barbara Raphael, James Ackerman, Nathan Secor and Gilbert Alvandi attended intensive workshops on leadership, parliamentary procedure, legal issues, budgeting and publicity. The students are four of 122 nationwide to complete the training.
The students will use the training for leadership positions on the college’s Associated Students organization.
