Monday is Presidents Day, created to celebrate the birthdays of Presidents George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.
CLOSED: All government offices, courts, banks, stock and commodity exchanges, libraries, schools and many businesses. Metrolink trains will not run. MTA buses will follow Sunday schedules. There will be no mail pick-up or delivery. All post offices are closed, except World Way Air-Mail Center, 5800 Century Blvd., Los Angeles. Express and special delivery mail will be delivered.
TRASH: Most trash collection agencies will maintain regular pickup schedules.
