BankAmerica Selects New Ad Agency

BankAmerica Corp. named as its new advertising agency Deutsch Inc., a New York agency known for its offbeat ads for Ikea and Tanqueray. The agency was selected after a four-month search. Previous advertising for San Francisco-based BofA was handled by Ketchum Advertising and Evans Group, both of San Francisco. Billings are estimated at $45 million to $50 million.
