Re “Harvard Provost to Be Appointed UCLA Chancellor,” March 6: To paraphrase Scott Adams’ “Dilbert”: Rumor has it the new chancellor will be a tall Caucasian male from outside of California. What a surprise--the regents decide that the best people to deal with UCLA and Berkeley’s affirmative action and diversity “problems” are two white males. My tax dollars at work?
