Q: How many endangered species are there?
A: According to the most recent report from the World Conservation Union, there are 5,205 species at risk of extinction. At risk are 46% of monkeys and apes species, 36% of shrews and moles and 33% of antelope and wild pigs and cattle, according to the report. Among all mammals, one of every four species is at risk.
