Water Customers Will Receive Refunds

Water customers will get credits on their bills as a result of an $859,000 refund the city’s Public Utilities Department will receive from the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California.
The refund is part of $70 million in cost savings that MWD is distributing to its 27 member agencies, which include Anaheim.
About 60,000 Anaheim water customers will see the credit on their utility bills this month and in May. The amount will vary based on typical water use.
