Datum Inc.: The Irvine manufacturer of time and frequency products said net income for the first quarter reached a record $1.2 million, or 26 cents a share, up from $182,000, or 4 cents a share, for the first quarter last year. Revenue advanced 46% to $28.7 million from $19.6 million. The company said the growth was driven by an increase of more than 80% in wireless telecommunications product deliveries.
