Burlington Air Lands Heavyweight Contract

IRVINE — Burlington Air Express said Monday that it has been awarded a contract worth $2 million a year to handle General Instrument Corp.’s domestic heavyweight air freight. Burlington Air, a unit of Pittston Burlington Group, will handle the shipping needs of General Instrument’s cable and communications divisions.
