A man speeding along Potrero Road near Camarillo State Hospital was trapped underneath his car Monday afternoon when he lost control of the vehicle and it flipped over, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Rescuers from the CHP and the Ventura County Fire Department worked to free Juan Garcia, 54, of Encino after his car skidded about 150 feet off the road and overturned in a nearby riverbed about 1:45 p.m., Officer Dave Cockrill said.
Garcia suffered minor injuries and was treated in the emergency room of St. John’s Pleasant Valley Hospital in Camarillo.
