Dodgers Will Honor 11 County Schools

Eleven county schools will receive awards at the 15th annual “Shake for Sportsmanship” ceremonies tonight before the Dodgers-Reds game at Dodger Stadium.
Schools receiving the award were selected by their respective leagues based on various criteria of good sportsmanship, including enthusiasm, behavior at home and away games and treatment of opponents and game officials.
The local winners by league: Academy--Capistrano Valley Christian; Century--Santa Ana Valley; Empire--Century; Freeway--Fullerton; Garden Grove--Bolsa Grande; Golden West--Saddleback; Olympic--Cerritos Valley Christian; Orange--Valencia; Pacific Coast--Laguna Hills; Sea View--Newport Harbor; South Coast--San Clemente; Sunset--Huntington Beach.
