Saddleback Will Give Degrees to Nearly 900

Nearly 900 degrees will be handed out Friday at Saddleback College’s 28th commencement ceremony.
At this year’s event, officials will award students 722 associate of arts degrees and 153 associate of science degrees.
The class of 1997 includes 12 valedictorians, who earned perfect 4.0 grade-point averages.
The commencement address will be delivered by Saddleback alumna Michelle Lofaro Cipolletti, an Orange County deputy district attorney. Cipolletti, who graduated from Saddleback in 1987, is assigned to the South County Court’s domestic violence unit.
The public is invited to the commencement activities, which start at 3 p.m. at Saddleback’s football stadium, located at 28000 Marguerite Parkway.
