No One Injured as Gunfire Rakes Motel

A fusillade of bullets struck a Thompson Boulevard motel office early Wednesday, but no one was injured and Ventura police were unable to find the gunman.
Police found numerous bullet holes as well as spent bullets and shell casings at the office of the Oceanview Motel, 1690 E. Thompson Blvd.
Officers responded to the motel about 12:30 a.m. after receiving several reports of gunshots in the area.
The motel manager was unable to provide any information to investigators, police said.
