Mayor Richard Riordan has rewarded his staff with “performance recognition fund” bonuses totaling nearly $80,000.
The top money-getter was mayoral budget director Chris O’Donnell, who will receive $9,137 in addition to his $83,060 annual salary, according to a memo Riordan sent to the city controller’s office.
Staffers who received $5,000 bonuses include press secretary Noelia Rodriguez, City Council liaison Stephanie Bradfield and transportation aide Jaime De La Vega.
The bonuses, awarded to 29 staffers, were meant to recognize exceptional performance and serve as an incentive for employees, Rodriguez said.
