Paper: GAO Report Ties Ills to Nerve Gas

A report by Congress’ General Accounting Office has found “substantial evidence” linking exposure to nerve gas and other chemical weapons with the type of health problems experienced by Gulf War veterans. The study, described in today’s New York Times, also criticizes probes of Gulf War syndrome carried out by the Pentagon and a special White House panel.
