Printrak Gets Job for N. Carolina Agency

ANAHEIM — Printrak International Inc. said Tuesday that it has received a $2.6-million contract to upgrade the North Carolina Bureau of Investigation’s automated fingerprint identification system.
The company, which develops identification systems for law enforcement agencies, said the order includes a complete backup system to allow continuous access during downtime or in the event of a natural disaster. The new equipment will be installed in early 1998, Printrak said. (Dow Jones)
