Judith A. Anderson, Cal State Fullerton’s executive assistant to the president, has been promoted to executive vice president.
She began her new job June 1. In her post, the Placentia resident is charged with expanding outreach activities on campus, leading university planning efforts that she initiated and overseeing intercollegiate athletics and governmental relations programs.
Anderson also serves as liaison to the University Advisory Board and administers the President’s Scholars Program, which grooms top students for continued excellence and leadership.
She joined the university in 1992. Previously she was a clinical psychologist, director of the career development project of the Florida Department of Labor in Tallahassee, an assistant professor at Florida State University and director of affirmative action and cultural diversity at Eastern Illinois University.
