4 Arrested in Raid Involving DMV

Acting on a search warrant, authorities raided a house Wednesday on Empire Avenue and arrested four people, two of them suspected of drug violations.

One of those arrested, 37-year-old Armando Madrigal of Ventura, was taken into custody on suspicion of selling forged proof-of-auto-insurance cards, authorities said.

The raid was at Madrigal’s house at 815 Empire Ave. at 1:45 p.m. Ventura County sheriff’s deputies served the warrant with the assistance of officers from the Ventura Police Department and the Department of Motor Vehicles.
