FOUNTAIN VALLEY — Police are looking for four men who reportedly broke into a home Monday, bound and assaulted a 19-year-old resident and left with various valuables, including the family car.
The home invasion occurred about 3 p.m. in the 9800 block of Debois Avenue, where the victim was sleeping in his bedroom, police said. He was awakened by four men who knocked him to the floor and tied his hands behind his back with electrical cord. The victim’s face was covered, and he was threatened with a knife, which one suspect used to draw a small cut down the man’s back, said Sgt. Jim Perry, a police spokesman.
After ransacking the home and taking stereo equipment and jewelry, the men left in the victim’s 1988 gray Acura Legend. The California license plate on the car is 2VBK831.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Fountain Valley Police Department at (714) 965-4485.
