The key to victory in this cyber-centric world, you see, is in becoming geekier-than-thou. This according to Johnny Deep, a nerd extraordinaire (a Web master, software designer and Harvard graduate) who has put all his wisdom in “The Complete Geek (An Operating Manual)” (Broadway Books). It is a tongue-in-cheek field guide on geeking-down one’s wardrobe, vocabulary and attitude, and includes such tips as learning GeekSpeak and GeekChic.

And if you’re still afraid of taking that first step for fear of ruining your love life, Deep claims there are plenty of women (and men) who “love geeks too much” because, as he points out, geeks are “America’s new power class.”
